Choose one of our three French-language programs: one semester, a full year of study, or obtaining your high school diploma. Each of these programs is designed to offer you an unforgettable and enriching education in Canada!

Study for one semester

Un semestre dans une école du Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique. 

(5 mois) 

This program is perfect for international students who want a short but intensive immersion.  

  
 
By enrolling in this program, you will be able to: 
  • Study in French in a school of the Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique 
  • Be integrated into a class of Canadian students of the same age 
  • Participate in sports, cultural, and extracurricular activities offered by the school and CSF 
  • Immerse yourself in Canadian and British Columbian culture 
  • Experience life in a family that will welcome you as one of its members 
  • Obtain grades and credits that can be validated by your home country 
 
Practical Information: 
  • The Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique offers 2 sessions. The first starts in September and ends in late January; the second starts in late January and ends in late June. 
  • Registrations are open until May for the following September and until November for a late January start. 
  • The first session of the program will begin in late August 2025. 

Study for one year

Une année scolaire dans une école du Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique. 

(10 mois) 

This program is for international students who wish to study for a full school year.  

 

  
By enrolling in this program, you will be able to: : 
  • Study in French in a school of the Conseil scolaire francophone de la Colombie-Britannique 
  • Be integrated into a class of Canadian students of the same age 
  • Follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) option 
  • Participate in sports, cultural, and extracurricular activities offered by the school and CSF 
  • Immerse yourself in Canadian and British Columbian culture 
  • Experience life in a family that will welcome you as one of its members 
  • Obtain grades and credits that can be validated by your home country 
 
Practical Information: 
  • The school year starts in late August with the welcome of international students and integration activities and ends in late June. 
  • Registrations for the following year are open until May. 
  • The next recruitment will be for the 2025-2026 school year. 
  • The first session of the program will begin in late August 2025. 

High School Diploma

Étudier dans une école du CSF pour obtenir son diplôme d’études secondaires. 

Cette expérience convient aux élèves internationaux à la recherche d’une expérience scolaire en français au Canada et souhaitant obtenir leur diplôme d’études secondaires reconnu par les universités, les collèges canadiens et américains, mais aussi à l’international.  

 

By joining this program, you will be able to: : 
  • Follow the complete curriculum of British Columbia  
  • Follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) option 
  • Participate in sports, cultural, and extracurricular activities offered by the school and CSF 
  • Obtain the Cornouiller French Secondary School Diploma of British Columbia  
  • Obtain the Dogwood English Secondary School Diploma of British Columbia if your English level is sufficient 
  • Apply to colleges and universities in Canada, the USA, and internationally once you have obtained your high school diploma  
 
Practical Information: 
  • The school year starts in late August with orientation days and ends in late June. Registrations are open until May. 
  • Registrations are open until May. 
  • The next recruitment will be for the 2025-2026 school year. 
  • The first session will begin in late August 2025.
